Indie Inc. Wrap-Up

Check out crafty ladies Amy N., Olivera, AmyD, Kara, and Megan G. lookin' lovely at Indie Inc. - a great event last week for small business owners. We learned about taxes and legal traps, marketing, and LLCs - and we also got to sample mead, vodka, beer and pizza from local businesses. Thanks to The SBB (Small Busniness Beanstalk) and Sandbox Columbus for hosting this awesome event. Big thanks also to Schade Photography for taking head-shots (or in our case, goofy cute photos) for social media.

Handmade Nation Screening and Spring Trunk Show!

We're so excited to co-sponsor the Columbus premiere of Handmade Nation, a documentary by Faythe Levine chronicling the rise of the indie craft movement. And, the screening is held in conjunction with our Spring Trunk featuring new works from our members.

Temproary Venue Change

The Surly Girl Saloon, where we usually have our Cotillion meetings, is closed today. They are so awesome that they are taking the staff tubing! So we decided to move the meeting to Mad Mex. I've never been there, but I hear is $5 margaritas, and well, I like my drinks.
